Life is filled with innumerable
surprises and wisdom often comes unexpectedly from the people
we meet every day, even from those we have never met in the
flesh, but who are well know to us in the spirit airways that
are overflowing with love and devotion.
Today, I was instructed to go to my 'special place in nature,'
not go all the way to my Akashic workshop, and in my special
place on the beach I would meet 'someone,' who would have
answers for me . . .
I instantly felt the calm and peace of the beach soaking
into those stressed and worn-out places in my heart and mind.
I walked through the surf, feeling the ever shifting sand
and the occasional hard shell beneath my feet, wondering who
would show up. Would it be my Teacher, a Midwayer Friend,
or perhaps even the big 11:11 Boss himself, Machiventa Melchizedek?
I heard someone laugh, and felt a splash of water hit me
on my back. As I turned there was the cheeky grin of one of
my dear human friends, one whom I've never yet met in person.
"You weren't expecting me, were you?" she asked
I must admit that was an understatement, but I was thrilled
to see her all the same.
"I'm here because I have something to tell you,"
she added, "from my own hard won lessons in life. And
you need to remember this, and make it a part of your daily
understanding and reckoning.
"Fear does not exist. It is not a thing. It has no substance.
You merely give it life, only in your own mind, and so with
your own mind you may banish it to oblivion, where it can
stay. It is truly that simple. To live without fear is to
face each obstacle, with the facts in front of you, so walk
forward in life, head held high, knowing that with each shaky
step you are doing your best, having the loving support of
the entire universe behind you.
"It does get easier. Just make a beginning. Take that
first step while shoving that old fear aside, and then with
that accomplishment look back and say, 'Be gone! You have
no power over me!'
As I think about these words now, I smile, and I remember
how often I have wished for divine intervention, help from
above, or a sign of support from our Creator, and our celestial
siblings, when I faced something that seemed insurmountable.
In reality, we so often, perhaps even daily, overlook our
'answered prayers.' Sometimes divine help comes from the twinkling
eyes, and heartfelt words, of a friend. Just as importantly,
we too can be the eyes, ears, hands and feet of our loving
Creator . . . if only we allow it.
